club girl

 This happened to one of my high-school friends. Yes, I keep running into the darkness. with my friend's disappearance and death and now this;

by the way, my friend had snuck out the window when I'd fallen asleep and headed toward home because she apparently became bored and wanted to leave (but without telling me first, ofc.) and a guy by the name of Derek Zydell, smoked crack, and was walking past her as she was leaving out and had something to do with her death. His girlfriend told police that he had confessed to murdering her because he wanted to rob her for money but had screamed and had taken off so he had knocked her unconscious and dragged her a little bit into the woods and suffocated her with his hands and left. Taken her $10 bill. He keeps denying it but blood from one of his shirts matched her blood. He was convicted and given 12 years. WTF?!

Anyway the club girl story....

My friend dated this girl Stefanie Ann Black. They were both 16. Both loved to really party and meet new people, so that's mostly why she was dating him because he knew how to get fake IDs for them to gain entrance into the clubs for seniors...

They dated for about 6 months and he broke up with her because someone had seen her with another guy at the club they frequented. She denied that he was even seeing another guy and that they must've seen a look a like. He agreed, gave her another chance. This time she got caught by him. She begged him to go back with her and he ignored her calls/texts and ignored her at school. 4 days go by and he snds her a text asking if she's doing okay because he hasn't seen her at school. No reply. Goes to her house and asks her mother and she tells him she was over her new boyfriend Orlando's house. He said okay, told her to tell her to text him and went on his way. He waits and still no replies. Eventually it says her number was deactivated and never saw her at school at all.

People said she dropped out and had gone to another school. He asked her mother again and was told this time she lived with her boyfriend and to not come by anymore because she wasn't interested in hearing from him since the break up. He feels something is deeply wrong by now so goes to the police station and explains the situation. Since it was days ago, they file the report and began searching for the missing girl. They ask all around, including her friends and family. Her boyfriend said that she had left 2 days prior. No one knows what to believe at that point.

Long story short, my friend was convicted for the murder because they had found her purse in his house and her blood splattered on the wall above his bed. He told them he had flew into a rage when he found out she kept going back to the club with another guy because in his eyes, she was his and to only go to the club with him only or her girl friends. no guys. She went against that and was smoking/drinking with that other guy so he invited her over to his house and confronted her only to have her tell him off and want to leave so he grabbed his sailboat paper weight and struck her on the back of the head and had hid her body in his tree in the backyard and piled wood logs around it. He said he was so angry that he pissed on her while she was underneath the wooden logs. He contemplated what to do so he kept bothering the mother the make it look like she was never with him and that he was concerned for her welfare. I really liked him but he took another person's life so I really hate him now. I hope he burns in the hottest inferno when he does die.

People donate to her mother's fund that she set up for her in her name to raise awareness against domestic abuse and people with mental illness(es) I did visit him in prison once but he blames me for not doing more to help him rekindle things with Stefanie. That's what mentally ill people do, they can blame other people before they blame themselves, if they even have the bravery to admit their own faults.
